JUICED NYC > The BReAkBeat Party is held at Leopard Lounge / Sin Sin. In October 2006 we were listed as a recommended party by Time Out New York [magazine]. We showcase Deejay's focused on the full spectrum of Breakbeat Music. The first friday of every month we takeover the venue with cutting edge, danceable breaks. We are the debut NYC Party for many of the top touring DJ's such as Chris Carter, BLIM, DJ Fixx, DJ Love, DJ Moon, Kelly Reverb, Brad Smith and more. Line ups are hand picked by the Cosmically Funky Juice Recordings frontman and deejay, Wes Smith. Join DJ's and local flavored partiers for a tight night or world class BReaKs! C U There!

THE VENUE

Leopard Lounge Sin Sin is at theSW Corner of 5th Street and 2nd Ave in NYC

The Scene > With its decadent red velvet, glass and mirrors, the plush bar resembles more of a VIP area in some midtown mega-club than a stand-alone lounge in the East Village. With stiff cosmopolitans and screwdrivers in hand, young ones sip and mingle at the bar into the wee hours. There's definitely no shortage of lovely model types hanging around.

The Draw > Large-sized clubs without the crowds or cover are hard to come by. Though there is a small weekend door charge, special club nights happen each night of the week and feature local DJs spinning house, trip-hop, reggae, disco, hip-hop and more. The upstairs Leopard Lounge is often reserved for the top DJ talent that comes through. Check the punk and new wave jukebox to relive the bar's former days with New Order on the stage.
